Mary Kaye Waldron Award Winner |
In 1997, Prof Olivieri was chosen by the university student body to receive the Mary Kaye Waldron award, given annually to a faculty member who is both an outstanding teacher and represents the spirit of Boston College through their involvement within the university.
In 1998, he was seleted by the faculty for the Distinguished Senior Faculty Award given annually a a faculty member who has contrubted to the growth of the school and colleagues.
He was co-developer of the EagleEyes system, a combination of computer hardware and software that allows a user to control activity on their computer screen with their eyes. This system was a finalist in the 1994 Discover Magazine’s Most Innovative Technology of the Year.
